چکیده
In this study, we systematically studied the X-ray to GeV gamma-ray spectra of 61 {\it Fermi} Large Area Telescope (LAT) detected radio galaxies. We found an anticorrelation between peak frequency and luminosity in high-energy spectral component galaxies, similar blazars. With sample, also constructed a function (GLF) gamma-ray-loud that blazar-like GLF shapes can reproduce their redshift distribution, but log$N$-log$S$ relation prefers models with more low-$z$ This indicates many By utilizing our latest GLF, contribution galaxies extragalactic background is be 1--10\%. further investigated nature Compared or flux-limited galaxy samples, selected sample tends lack high power like FR-II only $\sim$10\% are loud. Radio may contribute cosmic MeV comparable blazars if gamma-ray-quiet have Cen A, small flux ratio.

Origin of the high energy extragalactic diffuse gamma ray background.
We show that cosmic rays in external galaxies, groups and clusters rich in gas, with an average flux similar to that observed in the Milky Way, could have produced the observed extragalactic diffuse gamma radiation. متن کاملEGRET Gamma-Ray Blazars: Luminosity Function and Contribution to the Extragalactic Gamma-Ray Background
We describe the properties of the blazars detected by EGRET and summarize the results on the calculations of the evolution and luminosity function of these sources. Of the large number of possible origins of extragalactic diffuse γ-ray emission, it has been postulated that active galaxies might be one of the most likely candidates. However, some of our recent analysis indicate that only 25% of ...
متن کاملThe Extragalactic Gamma-Ray Background
The COMPTEL and EGRET detectors aboard the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory measured an extragalactic γ-ray background (EGRB) extending from ∼ 1 MeV to ∼ 100 GeV. Calculations performed making reasonable assumptions indicate that blazars can account for the background between ∼ 10 MeV and ∼ 10 GeV. Below 30 MeV, the background flux and spectrum are not very well determined and a dedicated satellit...
متن کاملBL Lac Contribution to the Extragalactic Gamma-Ray Background
Very high energy gamma-rays (Eγ > 20 GeV) from blazars traversing cosmological distances through the metagalactic radiation field can convert to electron-positron pairs in photonphoton collisions. The converted gamma rays initiate electromagnetic cascades driven by inverseCompton scattering off the microwave background photons. The cascades shift the injected gamma ray spectrum to MeV-GeV energ...

We show that GLAST should be able to support or rule out the unresolved-blazar hypothesis for the origin of the diffuse, extragalactic gamma ray background.
